The English pointer puppies

The pointer has unclear origins, but many consider that the English pointer puppies are the followers of the Spaniel Pointer, brought in England in 1713 by the English officers. With successive crossings, the exemplar that we know today was obtained. The name comes from Pero del Punta, which became “Pointer” in England.

It is a dog of big dimensions, and even the English pointer puppies will show you that. It has a symmetric, well built body with a squared aspect. The head is proportional with the body, it has a big skull, well pronounced and interesting.
